Kentucky Bourbon Whiskey
Our bourbon is truly like no other. We use local, food-grade white corn, and bottle the product at distillation and barrel proof in the style of a Pre-Prohibition bourbon. The result is a unique, very full-flavored whiskey that typically comes in at between 102 - 108 Proof (51 - 54% ABV). Each batch is hand labeled, numbered and individually proofed. Due to our very small size, this product tends to sell out the day it is available. We suggest all interested parties to keep an eye out for bottling announcements via our newsletter and text club. For those that are very serious about claiming their own bourbon, we do now offer the ability for groups to "fill their own barrel." Please contact the distillery and ask for Paul for more information.
Kentucky Vintage
Our Small Batch Boutique Bourbon Collection represents what we believe is the best combination of mature, fully aged Bourbons at a particular strength.
Light, but not to be confused with lacking in complexity, just a very elegant, easy-sipper that is truly wonderful on it's own or a slight splash of water. This is an example of a versatile Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey!
Kings County Bourbon
Kings County Distillery’s Bourbon is made from New York State organic corn and malted barley from the U.K., and aged in new, American oak charred barrels. It is characterized by a rich aroma of fresh corn, balanced with the sweet caramelized oak sap from small casks.
It has a very strong sweet base with flavors of vanilla and caramel, a deep molasses taste to the middle notes, and leaves a smooth finish with hints of cinnamon and autumn spices.
Knob Creek
Knob Creek is crafted in limited quantities, aged 9 years and placed in only the deepest charred American Oak barrels to fully draw out the natural sugars. Then we bottle it at an honest 100 proof to reflect the flavor, strength and patience that defined pre-prohibition whiskey.
The result is an undeniably big, full flavor that strikes your senses with a maple sugar aroma, distinctive sweetness and a rich, woody, caramel flavor with a long, smooth finish.
Larceny
Larceny was hand selected by the Master Distillers to have a taste profile of a six-year-old Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey. Made with wheat as the secondary grain, instead of the traditional rye, Larceny is a smoother tasting Bourbon.
Buttery caramel and honeyed notes, with a rich mouthfeel.
Lewis Redmond Bourbon
Each batch of our Carolina Bourbon is hand-mashed and twice distilled to pay homage to Lewis Redmond's acclaimed whiskey. Unlike other bourbons, ours boasts a high percentage of sweet corn balanced by red wheat, not rye.
Rich aromas of molasses and peanut accent the subtle notes of vanilla and toasted spice on the palate. Bottled at a generous 86 proof, the bourbon is perfectly suited to be served neat, or on the rocks.
Lexington Bourbon
Inspired by one of horse racing's most successful thoroughbred sires, Lexington offers an excellent bourbon drinking experience. Patiently aging for years in Kentucky's finest charred white oak barrels, Lexington Bourbon embodies the tradition and rich history of Whiskey making. This process produces a high quality and consistent flavor.
The rye provides the perfect level of spice, while the malted barley allows the sweetness of the corn to peak through, creating a sensational taste. The resulting flavor boasts deep aroma of the aged oak with a hint of vanilla.
Maker's 46
Maker's 46® is a complex whisky with a taste that doesn't need to be "acquired." We age Maker's 46® a bit longer inside barrels containing seared French oak staves. The staves create bolder, more complex flavors — while eliminating the bitterness that usually comes with whiskies that are aged longer.
Maker's 46 is meticulously handcrafted and inventively finished during winter using seared French oak staves. It offers more complexity; a deeper, richer copper tone; and big, bold flavors of vanilla, caramel, oak and spice.
Maker's Mark
Maker's Mark is America's only handmade bourbon whiskey-never mass produced. Each individual batch is less then 19 barrels, and this small quantity means we can be choosy about everything we use and everything we do to craft our whisky. That's why we use the old-style sour-mash method. We start each new batch fermentation by using a little of the last, resulting in a more consistent product.
The nose is quite fruity and rich. There are lovely notes of spiced honey and mixed peels, a little malmsey and a touch of cut fruit with toasty oak providing a backbone. The palate is rich and full. There are notes of rye and spice, barley malt, a little nut oil with butterscotch and vanilla. The finish is quite sweet with butterscotch and dry oak spice.
McKenzie Bourbon
McKenzie Bourbon Whiskey is a very rich bourbon with just enough rye spice to complement the subtle sweetness. A local variety of corn makes 70% of the mash bill.
We age in new charred barrels and finish in local chardonnay casks, which gives the bourbon a round, buttery finish.
Most Righteous Bourbon
Catskill Distilling Company's Most Righteous Bourbon is the result of a collaboration between Sachs and Lincoln Henderson, the creator of Woodford Reserve Bourbon and Angel's Envy Bourbon. Sachs sources a mash of 70% corn, 20% rye and 10% malted barley from Cochecton Mills, a local farm in upstate New York, and then mills the grains inside his 5,000 square-foot distillery.
Initial notes of butterscotch, toffee and molasses compliment hints of citrus and dried fruits. Mid-palate is slightly spicier, with notes of cinnamon, ginger and spice. Medium finish is light and smooth.
Neversweat Bourbon
First named for her unusually cool temperatures, The Neversweat's name became more ironic among Butte's miners as her depths grew and her temperature rose.
Neversweat Bourbon Whiskey, with its richness of body and depth of flavor, will make you understand why even immigrants who didn't speak a word of English asked for The Neversweat by name.
Noah's Mill
Our Small Batch Boutique Bourbon Collection represents what we believe is the best combination of mature, fully aged Bourbons at a particular strength.
Surprisingly elegant at 114.3 Proof, which is perhaps odd to say about a whiskey at near-barrel strength, but it drinks more like a 100 Proof Bourbon Whiskey. You get the rye showing its face on the front end with a nice creaminess and subtlety on the back end.
Nor'Easter Bourbon
Nor'Easter Bourbon is named for the legendary storms that have battered New England for centuries.
Born of corn mash, blended to perfection and bottled in small batches; Nor'Easter mixes rich, sweet flavors with warm, full bodied aromas of the hearth.
O.F.C. Vintages
Old Fashioned Copper Vintages is a limited release, vintage bourbon offered each year by the Buffalo Trace Distillery. Straight bourbon whiskey must be aged in oak for at least two years, but these O.F.C. releases matured much longer. The recipe and age will vary by vintage, but many are expected to mature for twenty years or more. Barrels are evaluated regularly and some whiskey will be removed from the barrels as taste reaches the peak of flavor. Each hand-cut crystal bottle is vintage-dated according to the specific year in which the bourbon was distilled.
Old Bardstown Estate Bottled
This fine Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey is named after Bardstown because we admire his perseverance and persistence. Sit back and enjoy this timeless classic, which is bred in the heart of the Bluegrass, just like Bardstown.
From the auburn color to the single malt-like nose and body, when a touch of water is added this is reminiscent of a nice sherry cask finished Scotch Whiskey. Earthy, malt notes prevail on the back end.
Old Charter
This 80 proof whiskey has a certain balance to it that's hard to beat. With a full body and complex flavors, this bourbon is easily enjoyed neat, on the rocks or in your favorite cocktail. An all-around solid whiskey that any bourbon drinker can appreciate.
A complex, well-balanced nose that shows both dry, peppery notes and a rich honey sweetness. The palate features some tingly spice notes and mellow toffee, very long and very satisfying finish.
Old Charter Oak
This bourbon is aged for ten years in oak barrels made from trees harvested in East Asia. An oak that takes root where many other trees cannot, Quercus mongolica is heralded for its ability to strengthen the earth beneath it, survive drought, and thrive in full sun. This bourbon honors the fortitude of those proud oaks. From the forests of Mongolia, these mighty oaks became the barrels in which this whiskey matured.
Mongolian Oak delivers a nose of pecan, caramel and pine. Sip this bourbon and discover notes of cedar, clove, butterscotch and dark chocolate, with a finish of black pepper and smoked oak.
Old Crow
Old Crow Bourbon is named for Dr. James C. Crow, the inventor of the sour mash process, which is a process that makes mighty fine whiskey. In fact, in 1835 Old Crow bourbon was the first bourbon to begin using the process that, today, has become a standard in the bourbon industry. Normally we don't like to drop names, but screw it. Old Crow has hung out with all sorts of famous folks. It was served in the presidential homes of Andrew Jackson, William Henry Harrison and Ulysses S. Grant. And it was enjoyed and praised by the likes of Walt Whitman, Henry Clay, Jack London, Mark Twain and Hunter S. Thompson.
Old Fitzgerald
An historic brand, which dates back over 120 years, Old Fitzgerald Bourbon enjoys a nationally recognized reputation as an award winning whiskey with a tradition of extra-aging.
Made with a "whisper of wheat" instead of the more traditional rye grain, Old Fitzgerald offers a unique and well-loved taste profile. Today, Master Distillers Parker and Craig Beam have preserved the traditional formula and techniques, while adding the benefits of seven generations of Bourbon distilling expertise.
Old Forester
Old Forester 86 Proof is made in the same classic style originated by George Garvin Brown in 1870. Twice-distilled, this remarkable spirit is crafted using a precise grain recipe of corn, rye and malted barley.
Old Forester is richer in rye than most bourbons, resulting in a uniquely full, rich, genuine character.
Old Grand-Dad
Old Grand-Dad was a distiller named Basil Hayden who made his name by distilling a bourbon whiskey made with a higher percentage of rye. Basil Hayden passed along the art of distilling to his son and then, in turn, to his grandson. It was the third generation distiller, Colonel R.B. Hayden, who honored his grandfather by naming his justly famed whiskey "Old Grand-Dad."
Specifically formulated with more rye for a lighter, spicier flavor
Old Pogue
A small batch, 91 proof, handcrafted Kentucky straight bourbon whisky. Old Pogue was the flagship product of the original H.E. Pogue Distillery in 1876 and is also the first product released by the modern Pogue Distillery. The product was fashioned after an original bottle of Old Pogue that remained in the family for over a century. This easy-drinking bourbon can be enjoyed neat or with a small amount of ice or water.
